When the School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT) came to Cull Group, they had a unique dual identity: a non-profit aviation school focused on missionary work and a for-profit aviation business offering aircraft maintenance, rental, and more. Cull Group designed and maintained two separate websites for SMAT: one for the aviation school (smat.edu) and one for the aviation business (smataviation.org). Each site was built with user experience, SEO, and storytelling in mind, helping drive inquiries, increase visibility, and communicate SMAT’s offerings.

On the ground, we revamped SMAT’s physical presence with building and wayfinding signage, including a monument sign, magnetic door signs, and office labels. We also created banners for conferences and outdoor events to help SMAT stand out.

Bringing It All to Life With Photo and Video

To tell SMAT's story visually, Cull Group conducted multiple on-site photo and video shoots. We captured classroom activities, hands-on training, headshots, and stunning visuals of their aircraft and facilities. The footage became the foundation for promotional materials and a recruitment video that brings SMAT's mission to life.
